Tabuccino - the Chrome browser plugin that keeps your tabs refreshed

By Kevin , October 21st, 2025

I published my second Google Chrome plugin today. I was getting tired of being logged out constantly of certain services and have to get my phone out to 2FA dozens of times per day. Some services have a very low lifetime and it interrupts my workflow. If you're like me and that gets annoying - this plugin is for you.

I'm sure there are others like it out there, but I don't trust many plugins anymore to not be doing nefarious, insecure actions. There is too much malicious slop out there anymore.

Tabuccino comes with an admin screen and smaller activation popup for tabs so you can toggle which tabs on or off that you want to keep alive.

This plugin simply does as advertised, keeps selected tab(s) refreshed at the intervals you want them to refresh at. Yesterday, I only had to log into each service once and was uninterrupted for the rest of the day. Give it a try! It works in Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and any browser that can use the Chrome Extention Store.

You can install the plugin right here.

Did you miss Librarian, the first plugin I made? You can read about it here.
