Auryn: A Unified View of Your AI Coding Sessions

Over the last year, AI coding assistants have become a regular part of my development workflow. Like many developers, I have spent countless hours working with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and GitHub Copilot CLI. These tools have become incredibly capable partners for everything from debugging difficult issues to planning new features, exploring unfamiliar codebases, reviewing architecture decisions, and generating documentation.

As these tools became more deeply integrated into my day-to-day work, I started noticing a new problem.

Bruno, a great new API client for development

For many years, Postman was a tool of choice for me when testing APIs while in development. It was a quick way to construct HTTP requests of any type and probe responses, test auth, things of that nature. It made quick work of figuring out how to design consumers, client wrappers and objects in Drupal to work with data structures from APIs.

However over the years Postman took some odd turns that makes it largely unusable for me, especially on Linux. The experience is clunky and awkward, and always requires signing in and several steps just to get to a point to start testing.
